01Our story

Since 1946, the way it has always been.

Etxe-Zuri has been part of Azpeitia's hospitality history for many decades. Its origins go back at least to 1946: that year it is already on record as a regular meeting point for locals and mountaineers.

Years later, in October 1997, the current owners took the place on and opened its doors again, bringing back the spirit of a house with a long tradition.

Since then, the same people and their team have kept the essence of Etxe-Zuri alive, building a new chapter based on closeness, good company and a love for this trade.

Almost three decades on, Etxe-Zuri carries on, part of the everyday life and the history of Azpeitia.

Home cooking and a home atmosphere, everything made to order. And Dona Doni natural ice cream from Getaria — to eat in or take away.

Right across from the bar we have a large terrace, open all year round.
